After installing the world’s first dedicated rugby field in 2000 at the Runaway Bay Super Sports on the Gold Coast, TEAM Sports has continued the development of this 3rd Generation grass technology in accordance with the regulations set by the IRB.
Our synthetic rugby fields are extremely hard wearing and provide a consistent playing surface in all weather conditions.
Our rugby pitch with synthetic turf is one of the best things that we have at the centre. There has been an overwhelmingly positive response from people who have used the pitch. At first people don’t realize that it is synthetic, they just think that we keep the grass really healthy.
